Self-Service Password Management (SSPM) is an optional, license-based, new service available to any Kanguru Defender® secure flash drive user. Customers who have a KRMC Cloud remote management account can already take advantage of this service as part of their Kanguru Remote Management Console. If you are a Non-KRMC Cloud user, you can purchase a 1-year, 2-year, or 3-year subscription in order to activate the Self-Service Password Management feature on your supported Defender drives.
NOTE: KRMC Cloud and KRMC Cloud Pro Users:
Self-Service Password Management comes standard with your KRMC account. It only needs to be purchased separately for clients with unmanaged USB drives.
With the license, you can designate an email address that will be used to reset the Defender’s login password if and when the need arises. You can choose to purchase either a 1-year, 2-year, or 3-year SSPM license. KRMC Enterprise customers, as well as individual, unmanaged drive users will need to purchase a license to enable the SSPM feature on their supported Defender drives.
