Self-Service Password Management (SSPM) is an optional, license-based, new service available to any Kanguru Defender® secure flash drive user. Customers who have a KRMC Cloud account can immediately take advantage of this service as part of their Kanguru Remote Management Console.
NOTE: KRMC Cloud and KRMC Cloud Pro Users:
Self-Service Password Management comes standard with your KRMC account. It only needs to be purchased separately for clients with unmanaged USB drives.
Non-KRMC Cloud users need to purchase a 1 or 2-year subscription in order to activate the Self-Service Password Management feature on their supported Defender drives. With the license, a user will designate an email address that will be used to reset the Defender’s login password if and when the need arises. Customers can choose to purchase either a 1-year or a 2-year SSPM license. KRMC Enterprise customers, as well as individual, unmanaged drive users will need to purchase a license to enable the SSPM feature on their supported Defender drives.
